A Rebel Within

I refuse.... I am a rebel.-Hopeless

I possess a spirit of resistance. It is not my nature to make war, revolt, or dislike; however resfusing is a characteristic that I have within. I refuse negativity, stereotypical views, hatred, injustice and the many other imperfections that are within this world. No, I am not suggesting that this world is an unfavorable place. The imperfections are merely an aspect of this world; hidden from the untrained eye; hidden from those that do not wish to see. They are shielded thorugh love, faith, and hope; however, they are still present. These imperfections are spoken from lips, and lurking in thoughts. Every being must conform to the act of refusing. In order for this world to be more favorable place refusing is the key: refusing negativity, refusing stereotypical views, and refusing hatred and injustice. Negativity needs to be transformed into constructive criticism. People should do away with preconceived notions. If love were instilled in the hearts of children, it could not manifest itself into the hatred that some harbor within. The "In" within injustice should be extracted from this life itself.

I understand that this world cannot change overnight. Evolving for the improvement of mankind takes persistance and desire. People will not always portray themselves positively, be non-judgemental, love, or promote justice. This world is not a menu; it does not always consist of favorable options. Refusing takes time and effort. This world must rebel.

I hope that you will rebel. The next time you experience negativity, hatred, injustice, or preconceived notions smile in the face of such imperfections and fill your spirit with resistance... become a rebellious refuser and one at a time you can make this world a better place.
